I just had that happened to my car today. Is this just normal with the b58. Would a catch can work for this issue?

I don’t think so but I think it’s how the engine was built after 2019/2020. It must be something that is designed differently that bmw / toyota is not telling us.

I had the following codes 140510 combustion drop out; cylinder 5. Also had the rest 140009 and 14000A. He checked the cylinder with the scope and notice that cylinder 5 was damaged. Going forward I think I want to do away with meth and just do a turbo upgrade and bolt one.

Did this ever happen to you on the freeway as far as you stepping on the gas and the car going into limp mode. This happened to me today and I’m trying to figure it out. I’m also running an e30 map. It also does on my 91oct and meth map. Hasn’t done it on my 91 map with no meth.

Anybody figure this out?
