    alternatively you can just slip on any ebay aftermarket tips for BMW M3 or M4 series. So long as the gap for the tab is in the right place. These are a VERY slightly smaller OD than the OEM tips. About $120 for the pair.

    I use royal purple MAX Boost. It boosts the octane rating by about 3 so 92 becomes somewhere in the ballpark of 93-95. Which is good enough to run map 3. Usually I'll pour in a bottle on 1/4 tank and immediately fill, and if I've been running without the additive I'll drive for 5-10 minutes...

    I mean...save for the GT4 they're all bosch ECUs. The security in mopars units has been relatively more secure than the rest of their units per FCAs request for some time. It's mind-blowing to me that nobody has even bothered to ASK those tuners for advise. Seems pretty juvenile.

    Eh... look at it this way... Worst case scenario you're just gonna be forced to milk out the factory warrenty. So by the time it's cracked we will just have a much better idea of where the weak points are.

    FCA has been using this style of encryption for years btw. The WiTech program literally says verifying block chain during factory updates and ecu recalls. Diablosport has been bench unlocking those same ECUs for years as well.

    Here's the thing... WOT switch would have to be somehow tapped into the DME or throttle pedal because of how the B58 controls throttle... the throttlebody does nothing in our cars. It's all the way open 99% of the time. Throttle is actually controlled by lift and duration of the intake valves...

    While likely expensive beyond reason. This also means it's possible to reverse engineer and manufacture the older DME's internals to work on our newer vehicles. Worst case scenario. We can have core DME swaps with modified/retrofit units.
