This was great ! exactly what i was looking for. I placed a pre-order for the LEM 5" catted DP.
Part of their monster series, so its a fat chubby 5". the above confirmed my assumptions.
i believe most of the catted "no CEL" DP's use a 300 Cell substrate from GESI. i went with catted not because of no CEL, but mostly because of smell and sound. There is almost no perceivable HP gains from catless to 200 high flow cell (maybe 1-2 hp if any). I think the original ceramic...
ive driven in 30 degree cold with pilot sport 4s, and have not had an issue especially when they warm up a little, but not advised as a regular thing as the night temps drop down lower. from what i understand the 4s compound vs. the super sport got a little update for colder weather and it...
Get the dual setup...you wont regret it. there is no replacement for a dedicated snow/winter tire especially in the north east. This is an extra must if this is your ONLY car, and its rear wheel drive.
@VelgenWheels : is there more room for more tire or a wider rim on the rear, or is this the maximum that can be fitted (11") to a supra? i ask this becasue if i purchase i have to consider tire size as i want the widest possible considering my future mods.
The good ol' grab and the $ and run. Customer service is a big factor especially with our close knit tuner/enthusiast community-it can be make or break. Glad it worked out for you.
This is cool. why is the bottom side of the intake blurred out in the video? @4:02.
also wouldnt making the whole thing out of aluminumm be more advantageous in terms of heat and weight? (instead of cast pieces)
The 02 spacers with the small holes are the ones that seem to work the best. this is a cool one that lets you chose which hole works best...the smallest hole and the medium hole has worked the best for me in the past with high flow catted DP's
