Check your Intake Air Temps. You might be getting hot up top and Supraās tend to pull boost when IATs are above a certain temperature. I had this same issue until I went back to stock intake. Once I figure a good heat shield Iāll put my MST back on. Hope this helps
Bumping this as my 2021 lost CarPlay yesterday. Through the weekend apply play kept getting disconnected then yesterday gone. Found this thread. This morning it was back working with no issues. Strange
I was using a Supra for a display at a STEM event at a convention center. One of their rules is any vehicles in the building canāt have more than a quarter tank of gas. After a day of launching and pulls I had to siphon only a quarter tank lol Iād think as long as you can reach you should be...
My MST with new turbo inlet was getting heat soak during long pulls. At the track it would see 130+F temperatures vs going back to stock seeing 118F at my top end. Going to wait for colder weather (Texas heat) and install MST again unless I purchase some heat shields to bring IATs down
I have or should say had this set up but couldnāt compete with the heat soak issues and eventually went back to my stock intake. I loved the sound but was actually slower doing a full pull. Are you getting heat soak/reduced power top end?
This is on a 21 and I felt the same way lol. Iāve been wanting to dyno. I was able to hit 11.9 at 121 but my stock tires spun bad (map 7). Seems like people get better gains on the 2020s and I was expecting a bigger improvement but was expecting more.
I am currently running titan motorsports protune and curious if anyone has logged AFR on the different maps? I understand stock is 14.6ish but am seeing anywhere from 12.9-14.6 at WOT given whatever map setting I am (downpipe plus bolt ons 93 vs 100 octane). Do the JB4 and Titan protune...
Someone makes a carbon fiber blocking plate but I donāt recall the company. There are also splitters Iāve seen that only have one side opening however personally donāt mind it open
