Want to DM me or share that dealer lol? I've been on lists for a while in state for MSRP and none of the dealers are getting supras (allegedly). One says they can get a preference but want $2k for it.
Yeah I'm aware of non-MSRP dealers in my state, I was just more so curious on if people were getting MSRP cars without waiting.
Is it MSRP with a wait or MSRP on the lot right now?
I'm fully expecting to wait a couple of months for an MSRP allocation but it just seemed like people were...
So I may be backing out of my Emira pre-order and looking around at my secondary choices.
How are you guys managing to get new Supras at or under MSRP without waiting? Are dealers really actually selling these without markups on the spot or are you guys actually waiting months for them?
A lot...
Okay so an update, I haven't had the chance to have the dealer take a deeper look at the car since they seem to be unable to get me a loaner within a reasonable time. However, when I measured my oil today, it said it was at max rather than the right above the minimum level it was reporting...
So I added a quart of oil at like 2300 miles, and I'm at almost 3500 now and this is what I have:
So I expect it to have a minimum warning within 200 miles, but I'm not sure if this is within spec or not for them to just say "oh well, you're out of luck."
I'm supposed to take it back to...
I'm on the fence about selling my 21 with less than 5k miles, mostly because I'm moving to the middle of a big city and I already stress over my car getting scratched, broken into, etc with all the attention it gets. My stress would be sent into overdrive and idk if I could tolerate it since...
I havenāt seen a green and black one in the area but Iāve spotted an A91 up in Grovetown.
Havenāt seen any other ones here but I was told yesterday that there is a white one running around here somewhere haha.
Lmao I brought that up when I initially scheduled todayās appointment and the service advisor basically shrugged it off and said āI mean thatās what the warranty is for right.ā
Lmao so I took the car into Toyota today and waited for 2 hours only to be told that a case has been opened up with Toyota and to come back in 1300 miles.
Ok. Cool.
Well I had mistakenly assumed that the Toyota tech filled up the oil and that they were gonna measure it over the course of 1300...
I donāt know if the ECU situation will change with the 2022 unfortunately not to mention the computer chip shortage that will affect features etc in the 2022s
How long did the repair take?
Lol, thank god I was hesitating on these car parts I was going to buy this week. Now I can wait and see how this all plays out first.
Ended up taking my car into the dealer ahead of time today to make an appointment for an oil consumption test next Monday. It might be a little premature but I'll be putting on at least another 400 miles on the car this weekend so I expect that the oil will bottom out somewhere along then.
The...
Welp. Came home today and checked the oil. I'm at 2104 miles, on original oil with a build date of 01/21. Bad news lol especially cause I was gonna make a drive tomorrow. Should I make a dealer appointment tomorrow or wait for the low oil warning?
It honestly kind of makes it more ridiculous that this happened especially after all the things Toyota was saying about this car being reliant on the aftermarket and it being a tuner car etc.
Iāve never heard of this but Iāve also never owned a car with Xenon or LED headlamps. So does the reduced headlight throw not bother you? Like I feel like I have to drive a lot slower than I did in my Elantra at night cause I canāt see that far ahead without the high beams on.
