Hey guys, I’m picking up a used AA catted dp from a local guy here. Is there anything else that I should make sure I get other than the actual pipe itself? In other words, do I need any specific parts for installation or is it just a straight up swap with the stock one? I’m asking because I’m...
No, I’m in Phoenix too and haven’t gotten any issues with heat. Definitely heat soak more though. It’s crazy how much better the car feels when I was in flagstaff over the weekend. Can’t wait til fall.
Well, I live in AZ and we have more curvy roads than I know what to do with. But beeline highway is my favorite for having a balance of long curves and plenty of straights to send it. I’ve put about 5000 miles on the car and barely scratched the surface of what Arizona roads have to offer. I’m...
600 miles. Went to horseshoe bend, and Grand Canyon north rim. Long stretches of empty desert highways and curvy roads through the forest right before we got to Grand Canyon. The Supra is such a good gt. Good fuel economy for the power it makes if I’m not going ham on it. So comfortable as well...
In the US, the Supra sounds so much better than the m2. Especially the 2020 car. It’s actually impressive how aggressive they were able to get with all the emissions stuff. With a catless dp, that thing is actually obnoxious lol.
Considering this was a 2020 model with 50 less hp and slightly worse handling, this is impressive. The 2021 MY would’ve wiped the floor with those two.
I’ve heard the AA catted downpipe installed Supra in person. I honestly think it makes the car sounds worse. Too raspy and took away the low growl from the stock set up. I saw a video on YouTube with the AA downpipe as well. Same thing, stock sounds better. From the videos I’ve seen, titan...
I test drove both versions too, but I had quite a different reaction. 2.0 just felt way too slow for me. My previous car was a Mazda speed3 and it feels far faster than the 2.0. In a straight line of course. The 3.0 is a different animal. Its acceleration is actually more violent than c7 grand...
It has happened to me twice in the last couple of days. Both times were when the engine was still cold. Right after I pulled out of the driveway. But once it’s warmed up, it’s normal again. Weird. I’ll keep an eye on it tho.
