  1. PPF installers

Booked it in for next Monday, whole front plus Sills and rear arches etc, and they are fitting the ZL1 rock guards as well. They provided lots of detail which was good and they asked who recommended them, so i gave your name, who knows you might get a discoount next time you visit!
  2. PPF installers

Thats some determined stone chip to hit the roof! What bit did you think was unnecessary the rear arch or the ceramic coat?
  3. PPF installers

Thanks Ollie, I gave them a call and they are similar to Project-R in price, a bit nearer to me tho a few differences in that they use their own film, which is a customised Xpel and own templates. Their medium package covers the complete front and side sills, did you go for this tho it does nt...
  4. PPF installers

Having collected my Supra A91 in matte mineral white, (though it shud be called satin actually) have washed it twice now and cant find any chips or marks which is great and I would like to keep it that way. Ive found a PPF installer - one called Project -r who do Xpel Stealth film and a silver...
  5. Collecting a Supra Special Edition - Happy days

Yep I think its the same, mines a 2023 registered, matte mineral white paint, hazlenut interior and manual gearbox. ALso includes the Pro spec so includes HUD, JBL, heated seats, LED lights etc. They retail new for just under 56k, this "used" one had 800 miles only and was 44.5k, so a really...
  6. How many miles on your Supra?

1081 miles exactly, of which nearly a third of this was the 300 miles driving it back from collection at the dealer this weekend. Loving the car
  7. Collecting a Supra Special Edition - Happy days

Thank you, had an 2020 Supra 3.0 Auto a couple of years back but sold it on after 6 months, could nt resist the special edition tho this year, last chance as they dont sell new production Supras in the UK anymore
  8. Collecting a Supra Special Edition - Happy days

Thanks, just sold my MX5 i've had for 3 years went for a final drive tonight was a great car, but another great one to collect this weekend. I think the reason the dealers are selling all their demos is theres no point having demo's if they can no longer sell new Supras, so was a good result...
  9. Collecting a Supra Special Edition - Happy days

Just put a deposit down on a dealer demo Supra Pro Special edition manual with the matt white paint, cognac, 23 plate with just 800 miles on it, it dropped from 48k to 45k yesterday and then i wangled another £500 off, so just £44.5 for a virtually brand new car. Looking forward to the 300 mile...
  10. White 3.0 Pro MT

Tim, If you dont mind me asking did you "mothball it" a year or so ago because of health reasons or intended it for something else eg intend to keep it as a collectors car maybe ? There seems to be a couple of really low mileage Supras for sale at the moment, theres a grey cu pro 23 plate on...
  11. Manual Pro now the only available UK option

I happened to click on a Toyota Uk email yesterday and on their website now it says the Supra on any version is no longer available to order in the UK? Whats happening here - has anyone else heard ought ? No longer available to order
  12. Has the Manual been Dropped in UK?

Putting 2 and 2 together I would imagine the "SE" version is just an abbreviation for the Special Edition manual, with the tan leather interior etc
  13. Good value any more - UK Supra

Here you go Topgear VX220 Turbo Review, I chnaged my Avatar to my MX5 just to bug you ;)
  14. Good value any more - UK Supra

Thanks, girlfriend hated it, no carpets, very basic and I used to get road dust and grit come through the cabin air vents as there was no filter, great fun though and fast, 0-60 in something like 4.7 secs back in 2005 and mid engined too.
  15. Good value any more - UK Supra

I appreciate what your saying but dont agree with a lot of it, not quite sure why adding in a bit of googled Latin words adds gravity or extrc credence to the argument either !! I would also say if you join a car forum, go to car shows and have a supra are a car enthusiast - maybe one in...
  16. Good value any more - UK Supra

Haha, if anything this has at least livened up the Uk forum !! As already mentioned i'm not impressed paying 60k for a model below the current USA spec especially when that engine exists is in a BMW in the Uk, so voids the emissions reasonaing first used by Toyota. Toyota UK could pull their...
  17. Good value any more - UK Supra

Agreed, Its a great fun car and you can have a spirited drive in it without losing your license. I personally love its agility and small size, round the country roads its hard to beat
  18. Good value any more - UK Supra

Honestly I am surprised at some of these quotes from so called car enthusiasts, SupraUK, you are so wrong factually on so many fronts. For starters "you need to be a midget to fit in an MX5", well I'm nearly 6ft and 13 stone and easily fit into the mx5, granted if your 6 ft 2+ and 20 stone you...
  19. Good value any more - UK Supra

Good intelligent reply and good to know there are others out there with similar thoughts! Reading up more on the 6 ports it would appear these too are BHP underated on the actual dyno, so however you look at it the difference is at least 30-40bhp (10%) less. Also other cars to add to the ones...
  20. Good value any more - UK Supra

This thread is not about whether the car is for me or not, I can decide that myself , the thread was about if a new 60k 335bhp Supra was "good value any more" to which no-one has come back and said it is was! Which kinda of confirms my thoughts. I had to cancel my special edition MT...
