Hi. I just joined the Supra tribe yesterday after collecting my 23 plate 3.0 Auto Pro. I’ve been planning to buy one for the past 6 months, so it’s great to finally have it.

One thing I noticed on the journey home was that the windscreen wipers can be quite noisy. They seem fine when there’s steady rain, but less so when they’re needed intermittently. Has anyone found a decent replacement option for the OEM versions?

Can't help with that one, I've too few miles to need a replacement only on 2500 miles on the clock, still like new

OEM insert replacements are cheap and generally good. Only after market for any car I liked was Bosh Icon series. Haven’t tried icon on the supra yet. If the curve isn’t right using aftermarket it just makes it worse.

yea this is my 4th "toyota" and not a single one of them had decent wiper blades from factory. i use Bosch Icon's for my 4runner and corolla and work great even in snow. Supra doesn't see rain so oem wipers be damned

My car is just about to be 4 years old and I havent replaced mine yet....
And it shouldn’t be necessary on mine either - it’s only 18 months old. I’ll give the blades a clean, as @razorlab suggests, although frankly the dealer should have done that.

Mine were noisy from day 1 in anything less than constant rain. Even waxing/sealing the window would only help for a little while. Swapped them out for Bosch Icons and they're quiet now.

I replaced mine with oem and they are skipping even after wiping them with alcohol pads. Going to give Bosch Icons a try. Get it from FCP Euro if you want free-ish replacements

Shouldn’t be but still could be. I bought another new car a few years ago. Different brand. Had to replace the wipers in 3 months. Replaced with Bosch and have been good for the past 3 years.

A 6L thing
I tend to find the modern style ones wear like crazy and need replacing quickly.
I've hardly done any miles at all in my Sup, but got new Bosch ones when I had a windscreen chip repaired.

My Defender seems to need a new set every 6 months!
