Hi all,
Selling my '21 Absolute Zero 3.0 premium w/ driver assist. ~15,600 miles. Clean title, perfect condition, zero issues, doesn't use oil (amazing for a '21!!).
Current mods:
Volk Racing TE37SL in blast bronze
TEIN S-tech lowering springs
MST V2 cold air intake
Seibon carbon mirror caps...
Sounds solid, looks like I'll probably go with ECFs when I get back into track driving-- do you have any track time on the v730? Seems like that's another popular one that wears decently
Nice, you running the Titan7s? My next mods will probably be the SPL parts, pads & fluid. Might do the ECF then, seems like people are happy with them. Or might just get cheap daily tires like Advan APEX then get ECF on a set of 18s
Hi MKV owners & track rats--
What tire size would you go with on aftermarket staggered 19s (TE37) for mostly street and some weekend track use?
Thoughts on 275/35/19 + 305/30/19 or 265/35/19 + 285/35/19? Or would you try and get as close to a square tire size as possible? Likely going with...
Within a month of owning the car I did springs + wheels because I needed better fitment in my life. Satisfied with stock power for now though and want to track it at this power level with 200tw and suspension upgrades before I do anything crazy.
I think if you're going to mod you just need to...
I got an HKS hi-power dual system for my BRZ for $700 new... Why does the MKV system need to be $2500+. Liked the HKS quality and everything fit perfectly but that's a full set of track wheels + tires near about.
Don't like knockoff parts much but the exhaust pricing for all the major brands is...
IMO I wouldn't waste time attempting to "order" at all. Half of dealers who say they can get you a car won't be able to, and a good chunk of the remainder will try and tack on markup after the fact.
I had 3 or so colors I wanted, knew I wanted a 3.0 premium and called around to see what dealers...
Echoing what's been said but trim/splitters/accents are good, I never liked full carbon wings or larger body panels.
I do think there can be a compromise though that sometimes works out even better than full painted; the way Varis does their hoods leaving the vents and accents carbon looks...
I wouldn't worry about it too much-- just keep it under 4k RPM for 800-1000 miles and should be all good. I didn't exactly baby mine and had quite a bit of freeway driving during break in, just tried not to floor it from down low or do anything too aggressive.
If you take it relatively easy...
I don't know that price plays too much of a role because the cars are so different, I still miss my performance pack BRZ from time to time even though the 3.0 I have now is so much more car. And still would like a GR86 to complete the garage.
Supra is better built and quicker all around but I...
Tons of people are lowered on spring/coils with an added aftermarket front lip. Sure you might scrape the underside of your lip once in a while but you'd have to do something pretty extreme to shred the front.
Beauty is pain :headbang:
