  1. Rear Pad Job - Retracting the e-brake?

Gotcha, thank you all for the help!
  2. Rear Pad Job - Retracting the e-brake?

Interesting, last time I did the pads, I did not use service mode, nor did I take off the e-brake motor to rotate it back in. Was hoping I could avoid that painful procedure of twisting it back in. I guess there's 3 ways of doing it: service mode, unbolt the motor, or twist the piston Thanks...
  3. Rear Pad Job - Retracting the e-brake?

A little confused on the procedure for the rear pad replacement. I saw a video where the person retracted the piston by rotating it with pliers. I've also heard you can put the e-brake in service mode on BMWs. Is this something we can do to avoid rotating the piston back manually? Or am I...
  4. Mechanic flushed in wrong coolant type

I really appreciate your guy's help. I did find some sources saying that cars which require the green coolant aren't reverse compatible with HT-12 though. The TIS doesn't really mention being able to mix them. By the way, Would anyone know how to flush them low temperature coolant loop for the...
  5. Mechanic flushed in wrong coolant type

Took the car to an independent shop (after a negative experience at the dealer) for a coolant flush and got the wrong type of coolant in. I know the car takes green HT-12, as all BMWs have since 2020. Mechanic put in blue G48 coolant, which was the old type used by BMW up until 2019. They...
  6. What's leading you to sell your Supra right now?

I've mainly gone for small warranty work, tires, and coolant. I should look into those self service garages, didn't know that was a thing
  7. What's leading you to sell your Supra right now?

The Toyota dealer network, specifically the service department. In my experience they have been unprepared, careless, and sometimes difficult
  8. 2022 Supra - Clinking sound from front wheels during high lateral force.

So glad someone finally got this on video. I even hear it when cornering in parking decks. I have this exact issue myself with the OEM 2020-2023 wheels. (And I have two sets of these wheels, both with the same issue) Should I get friction rings?
  9. 2021 OEM 3.0 Premium Wheels

Would be happy to come pick them up on Sunday around noon. Any wiggle room down to $750?
  10. 2021 OEM Wheels

    Already sold?
  11. Anyone know what this OEM part is? (Exhaust Pipe Repair Kit)

Oh I saw that but I didn't realize it was the same part shown in the clamp. Thanks

  13. Just Curious - B58 vs 2J

That's fair. I'm playing it safe and actively following the website link in your signature. Once we reach at-home flashing, its a full go for power.
  14. Just Curious - B58 vs 2J

How far piggybacks have come. 4 years ago my friend slapped a Race Chip on his CLA 250 and we all expected his motor to incinerate itself.
  15. Just Curious - B58 vs 2J

Wait you're telling me Pure800, meth, E, and pump with a piggyback? No ECU flash?
  16. Just Curious - B58 vs 2J

That's something I forgot to get cleared up. I had heard meth in combustible and can be used as a replacement for fuel pump upgrades. Not enough at that scale? Btw how come we see so many E50 builds and not E85? What's the limiting factor?
  17. Just Curious - B58 vs 2J

You're definitely right. He has had that car longer than I have had a license. I believe he said 9 years in the video. I do hope to see more ridiculous Mk5s, there aren't many. Seems like every other Mk4 is making stupid power, but the Mk5 is also way more common at this point. Close but...
  18. Just Curious - B58 vs 2J

I actually didn't know they can reach that on mostly factory guts. B58 definitely cannot.
