To my Az Supra folks- anyone know of any good independent shops that work on Supra’s? I called one that I used to use for my BMWs and they told me they don’t work on Supra’s. Looking to get front brake pads and rotors done. Thanks!
I had the same error message on the dash. Below is a summary of what the issue was for me. I have no idea if this is your issue, good luck though:
There were two problems, both caused by me: The first was the cold air intake, where it connects to the turbo/engine was loose letting in more air...
Ok, mystery solved. There were two problems, both caused by me: The first was the cold air intake, where it connects to the turbo/engine was loose letting in more air than necessary and thus was throwing a lean code. The second was that after doing the spark plug change, I did not re-clip the...
Unfortunately I don't have an OBD2 reader. Good idea to put it into diagnostic mode as it least now it displays the same error message after redlining it in 1st gear (see attached).
I did adjust the boost as shown in the picture (see attached).
It still revs to about 1,500rpm for about 1...
So I removed the JB+, reconnected everything and disconnected the negative terminal for about 25 minutes. When I go to start it, it starts up for about 1 second and then shut down immediately. I am not getting any error messages after the car turns off. See video for what is happening. Any...
Hi Everyone,
So I put the car in manual mode and rev'd it to redline in first gear. A few seconds later, I get the error message attached, the check engine light is on, and the car is in limp mode. I have a JB+ and a Injen cold air intake as the only mods. I have shut the car on and off to...
Replaced the stock spark plugs today. Here's a view at close to 40k miles. JB+ tune was put on about 5K miles ago. The stock Champions were replaced with NGK Laser Iridium SILZKGR8E8S.
So I changed the spark plugs today. Easy job. Removing the wiring harness was easier than I thought. Just slide the connector closest to the spark plug (highlighted in green) towards the windshield as per the picture and it pops right out making access to the 3rd spark plug easier.
Hi Everyone,
I have everything ready to go to change the spark plugs on my B48 engine. I have researched my question on this site as well as several You Tube videos on B48 spark plug changes. My question is how do I remove the wiring harnesses highlighted in the attached photo? Thanks!
