Special order for Volks are usually up to a year, so it doesn't sound too out of the ordinary. I'd wait until April. For future reference I'd email a rep from the distributor to confirm that they do have a set in stock just so you don't run into a situation like this again.

are y'all engaging your parking brake by first shifting into park then press brake pedal and pull on electronic parking brake button? or while in drive, press brake pedal, pull on electronic parking brake button then shift into park?
When the time comes to replace my rear rotors and pads, could i just put the larger rotors like the 3.0 prem or would there be a problem there? dumb question but figured i asked..
