It shifts fine when I’m on the road. It’s only when I’m shifting from P to D where I have that lag before the car moves forward. So even after the cold start and you put it in park, it has the delay? I'd keep an eye on it. Maybe it'll just go away.
I'm guessing it shifts fine in auto and manual mode, in sport and comfort?
I know little about ZF8s, but this was how the Honda M6HA in my '97 Prelude telegraphed that it was about to destroy itself.Started noticing yesterday that when I shift from P to D there is a delay for like few sec once I take my foot off the brake pedal for the car to move forward
All my cars have hill assist. So in my driveway, for example, I switch from P to D, there is “hesitation“ so I don’t roll back. Could this be what you’re referring to?It shifts fine when I’m on the road. It’s only when I’m shifting from P to D where I have that lag before the car moves forward.
I believe cars with hill assist use the brakes to hold the car.All my cars have hill assist. So in my driveway, for example, I switch from P to D, there is “hesitation“ so I don’t roll back. Could this be what you’re referring to?
