Doubt its the alternator. Sounds like a battery issue. But I wouldn't do anything unless it happens again. There's quirks to these cars.

Mine does this once in a while. Once it actually stalled. Then re-started and was fine.

Makes sense. They were testing the current GR86 with the yaris engine. I'd prefer no hybrid to not have to worry about the battery and its longevity. But that power level means the Supra must be getting more powerful as well.

I previously owned a BRZ and was ready for an upgrade. Always loved the Supra as a kid, so the nameplate definitely played to me. Car is a good value at MSRP, but I got mine $9k below MSRP in 2020, so it was a no brainer at that point.

Mine did that when it was new, but eventually went away after some time. I think it just needed to break in and the ECU needed to learn. I used to drive it exclusively in manual mode for that reason, but now it went away. Also the buzzing from the door lock pole/stick eventually went away. I...
