  1. Tyre noise increased after lowered the car?

Can confirm shipping spacers all removed. There is no other noise or vibration that I'm aware but just tyre noise when cruising on highway at high speed.
  2. Tyre noise increased after lowered the car?

Did anyone encounter increased tyre noise after installing lower springs... or it's just normal? The noise is intolerable (roughly 30% up than stock) especially when speed goes above 80 kmh. Could that be inappropriate alignment, tyre pressure or just the nature of the tires/rims? Might have...
  3. Tires not being flush after changing rims ?

    H&R spring at this moment.
  4. Tires not being flush after changing rims ?

Update: After lowered the suspension today, the wheel is now perfectly flush. Looks amazing :D
  5. Tires not being flush after changing rims ?

😅 I'm now aware of that. Just trying to cope with this to stay away from any legal issue (>10mm out is illegal). My bet is to changing the camber when doing alignment.
  6. Tires not being flush after changing rims ?

Great. I do have a lowering spring installation work coming up this week. Will find out after alignment. ;) Silly question: Did all of you guys adjust the camber especially after changing larger tires/wheels?
  7. Tires not being flush after changing rims ?

Do you mean to lower the suspension? I do reckon it would improve once adjusted the camber.
  8. Tires not being flush after changing rims ?

The wheel's specs are 19x10.5 +34, 19x9.5 +23, it is even designed for mkv. The rear ones are fine, the front ones are flush with the fender but tires go out +5mm. I'm also worried about rub issue once the car lowered.
  9. Tires not being flush after changing rims ?

So today, finally put the new wheels in with OE tires, but surprisingly not flush! Never heard of this issue with OE size tires. The mechanic claimed he did the job properly but the front tires still came out a bit as you can see. No spacers no wider tires, don't know if should give extra while...
  10. Lug nuts cap needed?

I guess that would do, just matter of colours and styles. R40 is 19Hex, so 19mm? https://caold.com.au/products/17mm-or-19mm-wheel-lug-nut-cover-hub-bolt-caps-universal-hexagonal-glowing-car?variant=31256824152129
  11. Lug nuts cap needed?

I know, that's why I go capless initially. But if look closer, still have few gap that might fit some caps. Anyway, I'm happy to run it capless, just seek possibilities. cheers
  12. Lug nuts cap needed?

I know that wheels havn't been washed for weeks, but I'm changing to new wheels soon, so why bother. The studs are the only few in stock I can grab, and the length is not that bad if considering putting spacers in the future. Anyway, I appreciate advice rather than judgement, mate.
  13. Lug nuts cap needed?

So I have converted from bolts to studs & lug nuts recently. Looks great even on OEM rims but wondering if possible to put a cap on it as I heard lug nuts rust inside quicker if go capless. Cheers. Studs: 77mm Lug nuts: R40 iconix M14x1.50
  14. Changing to Rays TE37SL wheels

May I know what's the size of the hub ring ? I see some youtubers using 73/66.5, confirmed with TE37SL? Cheers
  15. Changing to Rays TE37SL wheels

Supra noob here?. I'm planning to do a wheel studs conversion before I put my new TE37SL(9.5-F,10.5-R) on. I'm wondering if I need to consider spacers or hub rings? I'm thinking of getting bigger tires (275/35R19-F, 295/35R19-R), while I'm happy to stick with the OEM's. Any thoughts? Cheers...
