That's the feeling coming from how I had my XHP configured.
I just took another drive on the stock tune with full usage of the rev range, I think I can say that the stock tune is never harsh and it's not exactly slow when accelerating. BUT with XHP it's just better, I feel like I have more...
I put my car on Turo so I'm back to stock, I'm trying to see what I could improve on XHP though. Right off the bat a stock trans often times takes 2-3 seconds to shift, especially 2-3 upshifts under low throttle in the mornings, I kind of like it over my old settings, so I'll go back to my...
I can post my settings, they aren't 10000% dialed but I've been using them for the last year with my second supra.
Upshift farts are from ignition cut shifting, when the shift starts, all ignition (spark) is stopped, the fart sound itself is the sound of ignition resuming when the shift...
I've dumped my settings somewhere on this thread before, or if you don't mind me being ranty, I can do another dump of my current changes for the new car, but I'm still dialing in a couple values.
>Last mod
Good joke, inb4 buying a mod 2 weeks later
XHP is great, they might also have deals...
I'd say 25-50% of people who use xhp would be fine with OTS, but I think it's more common to tweak a few settings.
If you drive in sport automatic a lot, you might have a stronger need to fine tune the settings like the torque reduction upshifts, throttle blips, and shift speeds. If you check...
Both my supras were just catback exhausts, not even an intake. XHP makes the shifts better from a performance standpoint / intensity (which I prefer, I don't like lazy shifts), adjust shift points for D mode, standstill decoupling, and being able to dial in other shift configurations like...
I tried to disable 1st gear on the last car but I found the car would get confused, it'd display no gear, then it'd try to shift to an invisible 1st gear, have you had any symptoms like that? I don't recall it working between modes either, but xhp has been adding features quite often. Maybe I...
Glad others are enjoying it. I'm dialing in my settings again for my 2nd supra, I have notepad in the car and I'm doing 5% adjustments based on how the car drives in ACC or me driving the pedal. How'd you calculate those RPMs, I should consider doing that, but it seems like the car also shifts...
Issue 1 is 99% resolved with a different Supra
Issue 2 is still present but I think most people have some rattle especially near the harness bar, it's good enough for me so far
Issue 3 turns out wasn't an issue but normal
Issue 4 was car specific
Issue 5 doesn't happen to the new car, but if it...
I would assume those are BMW settings and just because they are selectable does not mean they improve anything for the car / work / don't hurt (see the whole sport+ debate), given the nature of programming and how these bmw control modules seem to work with key:value pairs, not all values have...
Both incidents were while moving haha. White car in my PFP was rear ended around 40-60mph, traffic slowed to a near stop due to construction, someone didn't see until the last minute and plowed into my rear left wheel which then broke suspension components, bent the subframe, and bent the rail...
Well I'm the OP and I can revive it since my last supra was totaled and I bought a new one a month ago!
1. Whining from the car when it's braking. This is gone, or its 10% of the volume as the last car, the other night I MIGHT have heard it while idling at a light (stock exhaust still on the...
Digging up this old thread because my previous car was totaled so I'm "building" a new Supra.
My last spec was 2 17in 120lb struts:

And 2 100mm blue...

This was my car (I now have a 23 Black to replace it). Impact onto rear left wheel at high speeds, driver bounced off me though so not all the force was transferred...
What stage? In my app I just checked stage 1, 2 and 3 and none of the dates and version numbers line up. When you go to flash, one of the popup questions is which version, thats where you'd select 1.0, or 1.1, I've always gone with the latest one.
I don't have any ideas off the top of my head other than checking their own manuals or documentation. I don't think it should force you to pair a dongle before adding a car, but if that's the order then probably still follow my flow above, then turn Internet or cell service back on to let it add...
