Does he have receipts of any maintenance work done? Like ignition coils, spark plugs, transmission/diff fluid changes? Idk about the B58, but I know N55 valve covers would start leaking as early as 40k-60k miles, and water pumps too.
Are the coilovers and wings suitiable to your track focus or...
1$k doesnāt sound terrible if it were in the exact trim you wanted and didnāt have some BS accessories like the ppf and $925 carbon mirror caps (biased because recently I agreed to a small markup, after holding a deposit for over 2 yrs for msrp). 2024 MY msrp went up by 2.5$k, so Iād hope 2025...
Pics from the Z forum, white with a blue interior looks rad to me. I think Nissan did a better job with the 2 tone interior vs. the incomplete red/hazelnut offering from Toyota. The plastics on the Z's interior look like garbage though at $54k starting MSRP for the Performance trim.
Maybe hater was the wrong word, not really hate in its actual definition, more just a snicker.
I canāt find much sales data in Australia about the Z, but it also looks like only a 100-200 Supras are sold per year in Australia. All I see is an article saying the all 100 Nismo allocations sold...
Come on guys itās Easter LMFAO.
I was once a knee jerk hater of concept, but now Iāve grown to appreciate where he comes from even though I donāt agree with his school of thought, and coincidentally the 45th anniversary wing has kinda grown on meā¦.
ps edit: Iām also pretty tipsy and prob not...
Wow 3 people dropped ahead of you, I wonder if that is some market softness signs ahead or just a one off? Over in California, markups are weakening but still present for Toyota.
Congrats, that stratosphere blue is a beauty and will be rare along with its MT trans.
Iām just trying to give the Z a fighting chance by throwing in the 45th anniversary edition lol and just to compare the ālimited editionā. Nismo is more truly a special edition vs. the 45th but yeah overpriced compared to the Supra. Iād say the Nismo is worth MSRP if youāre a diehard Z fan whoās...
I like the Nismo seats lol. And even though slower around the track, the Nismo suspension bushings and other changes may make it feel more āsportyā and ātraditionalā (old school lol). Iām just thinking at what $ delta does the Nismo Z sound more tempting. Maybe 5$k less than the Supra or does...
It looks like there are multiple Nismo Zās with a couple thousand discounted off MSRP. How does say a 63$k Nismo Z stack up against a 66$k 45th edition AT Supra? I would be tempted to go Nismo if I was interested in an automatic car.
Is it the dealerships that limits supply or Toyota Corporate? Dealerships are independent of Toyota right? I understand we are forced to buy through dealerships, but wouldn't Toyota be pulling the strings on total supply/production?
