Because for some people owning a sports car is more than just lap times or just to be the quickest.
Sometimes it's just fun to rev up the motor and release the clutch into a corner. And sometimes it's more enjoyable to rev match downshift heel toe etc yourself.
Just look at the Porsche GT3...
It could be a deal breaker for me depending how it performs. If its competing with a Cayman and those have a manual. Its gotta perform quite a bit better to sway me especially with the price rumors.
Might make me look into a 86/BRZ or the competition that has a stick if it ends up being a poor...

I can see them posting these 2 on the website just because they are concepts. The rest of the cars are concepts on the page.
But then revealing the Supra at the show because it is NOT a concept.
