No cut out. It just touches the cladding. I don’t see any wear after 4 months. I thought about cutting out for ventilation, but I don’t currently have any temp readings for the transmission indicating I need to.

I installed the M3 pan as well. You can see the before pictures in my post from September 4, 2023. First pic below is the side view of how low the stock plastic pan hangs. Second pic shows the M3 pan is noticeably lower. It just touches the cardboard flat floor.

I just ordered and received the same parts. Have you installed yet ? Is that the right filter ? I seems too small. The filter pickup fits in the pan, and the uptake seems to line up with the transmission, but that is alllnthat is keeping that filter in place. Have you had any transmission issues...

RB brake disks. They may be lighter, but this happened on the track. Apparently, it is my fault for using too aggressive pads.

I agree that mp3s suck. I can’t stand the way they sound, even at ridiculously high sample rates. Our cars play FLAC files as well (at least my 2022 does). You can put 100’s of CDs on a USB drive that barely sticks above the USB slot. I don’t think a human can distinguish a FLAC file from a CD...

And this is the message you get when the “Service Function is Complete”. Note that at about 5 mins, the check engine light comes on. When you restart, it goes away.

The message to let you know that coolant level isn’t high enough, it’s pretty clear

If you don’t see the “service function started” message you did not do the procedure correctly. The car will occasionally rev to around 3000 RPMs if you don’t have the revving, you didn’t do it right.
