Hello there! I recently purchased a Verus V1X in that area and am looking to get some assistance in shipping it. My friend, supra owner, Lelouch is down there and we're trying to see if anyone in the area has any large enough boxes / has the capacity to ship this big wang out.

Any local UPS/FedEx store should sell boxes big enough and have plenty of room for packing material; even if they don't, you can always grab multiple boxes and packing tape and Frankenstein something together.

I don't think I'd trust UPS to package it. I recommended Mission city container / victory packaging after a quick google search of the area. Hopefully they have something. I also am waiting to hear back from Verus if they have a spare v1x box to ship out.

Not sure how wide the wing is but you can try buying a TV shipping/transport box as they tend to be offered in wide sizes and the boxes themselves are usually thicker than normal and then just cut it down to the height you need. From there the biggest factors are going to be packaging material (i.e. bubble wrap or foam inserts).

~5 and a half feet long. Guess we'll try the TV box approach.

I've got a set of Quickjacks coming in hopefully within the next week or so. You may be able to mate the two boxes together into something large enough for a wing.

*Also I am in Austin so I don't know how willing your friend would be to drive 90 minutes north to pick up boxes

how much was your shipping for something that big? I bought 2 seats from someone in texas to virginia using freight shipping, weighed at 100 pounds, pretty big box, like 200 bucks for shipping, but fedex dicked me and charged me an extra $400 for a "inaccurate weight" saying its 200 pounds... ignored all my calls to dispute.

Anyways might be considering to sell my hazelnuts seats eventually, wondering what route you went with.
