2020 Supra is a Semifinalist for North American Car of the Year

The semifinalists for North American Car, Truck, and SUV of the Year nominees have been announced and the twelve remaining candidates are:

BMW 3 Series
Cadillac CT5
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
Hyundai Sonata
Kia Soul
Mazda3
Mercedes-Benz A-Class
Polestar 1
Porsche 911
Subaru Legacy
Toyota Supra
Volkswagen Arteon

Jurors will conduct a group test of these cars in October and the finalists will be announced at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, while the judges will name the winner in early 2020.

I would imagine it will be the C8 but will they actually get to drive a production model before they make the announcement. I am slated to get mine in April/May, my dealer had 100 slots and I was 93rd as I have never owned a Vette or Chevy before, lot of guys in Hawaiian shirts and socks to their knees in front of me.
