Advice needed - spotting remains after full ext detail

Hey everyone,

I just picked up a 2020 launch edition in red. I went through a process of Maguires clay, Ultra pro speed compound, ultra pro finishing polish, and hybrid ceramic liquid wax, and I've got this strange spotting that remains. I've never worked with older paint to do big corrections before. Is this something I just need to do heavy cutting more, or is something else going on with the paint?

Hopefully the pic shows the issue clearly enough. It's right in the reflection from the light on the roof.

Its either an embedded contaminate, in which case use a clay bar and a heaveir cut pad and compound. OR its water spotting, in which case you have to recreate the environment in which the spotting happened. Usually this means heating the paint before compounding.
