I upgrade my steering wheel and did the airbag cover as well.

I had disconnected the batter before I started. However when replacing everything I didn't full seat the airbag in the clips before putting the car in diagnostic mode. No errors came up, seated the air bag and started the car.

Got "Driver Restraint System Error." hooked to beemerlink and the code that can't be deleted or cleared is 93090F says (Airbag Driver Valve Resistance Too Small).

I disconnected the battery, unclipped the airbag again and confirmed the cables were connected correctly.

Any idea on if this is something that just needs remote support and code cleared or did I really mess something up?

So figured out what it was. I took the airbag out and then looked around on the airbag itself. Somehow I screwed up and trapped a wire under the one but they run around. Fixed that. Reinstalled. Cleared code with BimmerLink and all is good so far.

Same exact thing happened to me but now I hear a rattling noise when the steering wheel vibrates with lane control
