Anyone know what this gray tube is hanging

So, my keyless door doesn't work. Hasn't since I picked up the car in late June (2020LE). I was looking in the trunk area since the Internetz said there is a wire there that can become displaced and cause this issue.
Not sure what the wire looks like but noticed this gray tube with a black nozzle on the end.
No idea what it is or if it's supposed to be plugged in somewhere?

That connects to the side of the battery near the top. Not related to your issue tho. Just a vent tube for battery fumes

That's the battery vent tube. When you charge the battery, there are small amounts of hydrogen gas created. This vents it outside the cabin.

Look for a small hole along the top edge of your battery for that to plug into
