Anyone pre-order or waiting in line for a Switch 2?

Hey ya'll! Just wondering if anyone is getting a Switch 2? I'm a huge gamer and love my Switch. Just wondering if at 44 yrs old, trying to wait in line for 2 hrs to get one is super dumb, haha. I might wait with my daughter. I haven't contemplated getting a system at midnight launch since Sega Dreamcast! I think for me, it just brings memories of nostalgia, waiting in EB Games line on 9/9/99. Just a feel good moment from my youth, I guess I'm desperately trying to relive haha. Just wanted anyone's thoughts or nostalgic experiences today ?

I'm a gamer myself, also in my 40s. Regarding your post, I think I'm going to skip the Switch 2 for now until it's more widely available. These days, I mostly game on the PlayStation 5. I usually play titles like Xenoblade and Fire Emblem on the Switch, so I’ll hold off on getting the new one for the time being

Was able to get a preorder through Target a few months ago. Expected delivery is middle of next week, hopefully it comes sooner ?.

I too have some great memories of midnight launches at EB from the 90's. good stuff!

Thought about it, but held back for a couple of reasons. First, i already have a Steam Deck OLED, which i picked up because (well at least one of the reasons) because of the terrible screen quality on the Switch. Second, i just built a sim rig, and have been enjoying Gran Tourismo.

That said, i just ordered one today and should have it in a few hours. lol.
