Hi everyone,

2 months ago I bought a new-to-me 2021 3.0 Supra. Right away, I knew it was modified but I had no idea the extent it was. At the dealership, I saw it was clearly lowered, aftermarket exhaust, and intake. Since I bought it, I think I've uncovered everything I can about the build and would appreciate any input in regards to things to look out for, maintenance advice, ect.

Build List:
KW V3 Coilovers
SPL Front Lower Control Arms
AWE S-Flow carbon intake + lid
EOSpeed Port Injection Rail
Motiv Reflex +
Forge Charge Pipe
Titan Catless Downpipe
Remark Elite-Spec Catback Exhaust
Ecutek - Tuned by Payn Performance Engineering

Turbo is confirmed stock. After acquiring an EcuTek OBD dongle I saw Payn listed as the tuner so I reached out to him. I sent him a log and he identified the car as having a full flex fuel tune. The car is running pretty happy currently at e40.

I’m getting ready to do my first oil change with amsoil 5w-30. Haven’t looked at bimmerlink yet but the obd should be coming in soon. I plan on doing most of the maintenance myself as I’m terrified of the dealer locking my ECU lol.

Was bought in central Texas however the car lived the majority of it's life in Dallas in case the previous owner is lurking around here. I appreciate any input anyone might have.

Sounds like it’s time to find a good independent BMW mechanic in your area. If not doing the oil change yourself have them do it, check the coilovers, try to determine the miles of use since install, any other aftermarket suspension parts for wear, loose bolts, etc. Also have them run a proper scan tool diagnostic on it, if you haven’t done so already for a good piece of mind and an alignment.

And definitely don’t go to Toyota if you don’t have to. The car already has too many aftermarket parts. Not necessarily a bad thing. But not something that’s their forte.

I think is nice to have those mods done. When you paid for it, were those mods included in the price of the car?

Also, what’s you plan to use the car. Seems like a hefty machine for a daily driver.

The dealership didn’t know about the majority of the mods and it was sold as-is. As I’ve dug more and more into the car I’ve kept finding additional things. I don’t think it goes beyond port injection flex fuel tune.

The dealer actually had it discounted because of the mods they knew about so it was a pretty good deal.

The plan was to use it as a light fun daily - I work fully remote so it’s mainly driven to the gym and back lol. I have a civic if I need to drive some heavier miles or carry anything. I love this thing so the civic really hasn’t been touched recently tbh but I should probably start changing that.

Dealership always seems to make it a negative when a car is modified even if they dont know the extent. Which is understandable. Every once in awhile u find a nice tastefully modified vehicle for a good price and you feel like you committed a crime. haha

Looks like you got a good one. Little bit of that sleeper / stock appearance too. Enjoy that thing :)
