If you don't know if you need one or not, you don't need one. Meth and Nitrous are the most 'over the counter' reasons, as the factor chargepipe can hold 30psi relatively easily. They do become brittle over time (years) and can break. What is the benefit of after market charge pipe over oem one.?

If you're not spraying anything, and you're not running a turbo that needs a custom one, chances are you don't need one.
