Gents.....I'm on the fence about which route to go. Is the engine in the 2021 really that much better? I found a few used supra's for 43k-45k. Newbie here....go easy

2021 model, to my knowledge, has newer exhaust manifold and has about 50hp over the 2020 model. 2021 also has suspension adjustments and additional strut bracing under the hood.

That being said, I bought a new 2020 a couple of months ago because I got a decent deal on it and it was significantly cheaper than any deal I could have gotten on a new 2021. The additional upgrades and power is a nonissue for me and can be addressed in the aftermarket support.

There will always be something better year after year. If the price is right, pull the trigger.

I would go for the 2020 and use some of the saved money on aftermarket parts.

So far the 2021 cannot be tuned and those extra 40-50 some hp can easily be added to the 2020.

With just an ECU tune you get around 90 extra hp give or take which means the 2020 will have 40-50 up on the 2021.

Some of the other new stuff can be bought and added if one whish and those that cannot does not justify the extra cost if you ask me but I am sure owners of the 2021 will tell you different;)

Buy the used 2020, it has a way bigger ceiling than the 2021
