No, that trim piece has been there for weeks. It just happened today.

to be fair, the trim may have adjusted due to heat making the adhesive squishy.

I have given up on CarPlay in mine, can't even get my phone to connect regularly

Still...just because it's been there for weeks doesn't rule it out.

Looks like the toggle button in the lower left corner is being “pushed” switching it between the different views/layouts repeatedly.
