Curious - Lock/Unlock pump/electric sound

Curious if anyone can explain please what is the electric kind of sound the car makes when you unlock it after it's been sitting for a while? Sounds like some sort of small pump/servo. I also noticed sometimes it does a slightly different louder/longer version and wonder what is the difference.
Is it something to do with fueling by any chance?

Aside from mirrors folding out, accessory power, and probably other things related to driver/key settings. Normal luxury car stuff?‍
