Dash Piece Melting?

The plastic trim piece that surrounds the center screen appears to be melting. Has anyone else ever had a similar issue? I am also trying to find this part to order. The main part that includes the whole screen is 86110WAA02 I think.

I'm assuming that you have the online part catalog but just in case :

Damn that's weird. I heard stories of people having damage to their cars because they were parked near tall buildings on sunny days. Could it be that sunlight from a window shone on that specific part for a short amount of time?

Thanks, I think we're in the right ballpark, but 55510WAA02 looks to be the speaker grille/cover right next to the piece I'm after. Hoping to avoid the dealership but that's probably the way to go.

I don't think so, I always put up a sun shade on sunny days. The car is parked in my garage every day. Not sure when this started happening though, I just happened to feel behind the screen today.

I didn't have time to search all the diagrams but (in the office and should be working... after all) but I couldn't find the screen shroud by just looking at the drawings?
but it must be there somewhere so you should be able to find it if you dig through them all
