Hey all, ive looked around at many threads about muffler deletes for the mkv, in my head it seems easy enough but as far as finding stainless steel pipe pre bent im kinda at a loss for what route i should take. I was going to cut the muffler right after the y pipe starts, and then my idea is to route 2 stainless pipes to sit where the factory pipes are lined up with the bumper. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I will obviously need to get them welded but maybe just use clamps temporarily?

thanks for reading.

I have to tell you, I had stock downpipe, and an ETS catback exhaust. It was ehhh. I then took the ETS off, and went back to stock, thinking about the muffler delete. During that time I found a catless dp, and installed it. Like @Timmy_Jones said above, it sounded almost perfect! No cutting shit up or welding anything. I never messed with the exhaust again. Also, the stock exhaust flow rate is perfect up until 500+ish hp, where something aftermarket will have more of an affect on power than just being a noisemaker.
