Does the European Supra have convex mirrors?

I wanted to put convex factory mirrors on my US spec’d Supra, which I assume come on European models. I did this with my M240i and it worked PERFECT and I found the convex mirrors provide a much preferred field of view. I got a couple of OEM mirrors from a crash test Euro Z4 and the passenger side worked, but the driver’s side did not. The specific issue was that the power plug to the blind spot warning triangle was different. So, I’m wondering why one mirror worked and the other didn’t work and whether or not sourcing the Supra-specific mirror (and part number) would solve the problem.

I assume, but am not sure if Euro Supras have convex mirrors: can anyone of my Continental friends confirm (knowing UK is obviously not so helpful)? Can anyone confirm one way or another.

Bump, I was hoping you got a response by now. Btw are you now running the stock mirrors or are you running the eu for the left side and stock right side.

I’m running the convex European mirrors both sides. Our stock passenger is slightly convex, but I got a pair from someone who works at a crash testing center in Europe.

I also have an extra pair without the blind spot warning light that are gathering dust. I suppose I should put those on ebay.
