As my car was stock : right oem valve was in close postion. It open once my car is in idle or warm and it never close.

With fi exhaust : now i have split connection for 2 valves ( right and left )

left is working good as the car warmed it move to open

but my right valve is always in the open position no matter what.

any idea what could be my problem? Is the split connector pin problem? Or the spring ? Cause ive installed a new fi spring. Still the same problem .

Not sure what your stock exhaust has to do with anything if you bought a new exhaust system.

The valves opening and closing doesn't rely on the car being warm, you control valves with the given controller (should have 2). If you're having issues after using the controller, then I would assume it's an electrical issue. Just a heads up, the valve can get stuck if you frequently do burbles with valves closed over time.

This is a different remote but same thing applies for Fi/Valvetronic controllers:

You can buy a Fi Exhaust without the remote and just let it be operated by the factory sport button. If OP doesn’t have a remote it might have been a similar issue to mine.

If the solenoid isn’t turning the valve at all, try swapping the left and right controllers and see if the problem goes with the controller. Mine did and once I replaced it with a new controller it worked fine.

Interesting, I know it's an option to wire valves to the sport mode button, but I assumed the controllers came regardless.

im not sure of what should i swap. Is it the connection? Because that short wire doesnt reach to the opposite side. Or is it the full valve assembly .

yes you can. Fi exhaust has an outflow from each duct

if the issue follows the actuator its the actuator. if it stays on the same side either the circuit is open or the valve is getting stuck readjust the valve
