The ultimate lines up just fine with the DP. I presume both were made to mate to stock components so they both match.
I can try to grab some clips, but videos don't really do a good job of showing the volume. Having run both, I prefer the ultimate. With the valve closed it's equally as quiet as...
One thing to note is there are two version of the FI exhaust, the original and the ultimate. The ultimate has a smaller muffler and bigger tubing. I'm a bit out of reach for you, but if you're ever in NorCal I'm running the:
AA Catted DP (400 Cell GESI) + FI Ultimate Catback
I haven't noticed any damage but it was only one hit, I think it would after repeated hits though.
I did approach straight on as I've never had issues in that parking lot before even after I lowered the car. It isn't dragging over the speed bump so if I go over the bump slowly enough it...
Them hanging a bit lower is a bit problematic if you have a lowered car. My car is lowered about 3/4 inch and I went over a speed bump I normally have no problem going over and it landed hard on the aluminum jack pad
The clicking sound I think of the electric solenoid for the valve. You checked this after it's been warmed up right? The valve doesn't open and close with the sport button until the car is warmed up enough.
If this is after you've warmed up the car, try and record the valve to see if it's...
I figured a clutch stop might not work with the pedal, but are you able to sit further back and away from the steering wheel or the dead pedal/foot rest now?
Does this help to improve your seating position at all? A problem I have is that the fire wall is so far away I have to kind of cramp my legs to be able to fully depress the clutch pedal.
Originally I planned to use a clutch stop but wonder if this was also a good solution instead.
You can buy a Fi Exhaust without the remote and just let it be operated by the factory sport button. If OP doesn’t have a remote it might have been a similar issue to mine.
If the solenoid isn’t turning the valve at all, try swapping the left and right controllers and see if the problem goes...
Early models the rear brakes were different sizes Base to Premium for 3.0L Supras. I can't find anything more recent if this is still the case on MY23+. Rear brake diameter varies between 13.6 inch to 13.0 inch.
The Girodisc rear rotors are 345mm so the 13.6 inch rear rotors...
I think Britt Casey had said the opposite. He said the Supra was a "skill cannon" if you're a good driver you can be really fast in it, but the Z was more literal and easier to drive but didn't have the potential. At least that's how I interpreted it. Britt Casey is a professional race driver so...
Have a leather wrapped Aza Auto Wheel. I had gone for the OEM+ style wheel so it's just a fully wrapped, regular wheel. - $700
Also have Madtrace non-adjustable magnetic paddles with the CNC aluminum paddles. - $250
Also have some regular G80 style paddles, they're a full paddle swap and...
I thought I'd take a stab at this as I just went through putting a racing seat and harness in my car and tried my best to do a lot of research. That said I'm definitely not an expert or have any venerable experience on this as it was my first time ever doing racing seats.
1. Recaro Sportster GT...
Might I suggest instead of a tab, you use like a hook? Don't need to like fit our entire fingers under, but if we're having gloves, hook or loop might give a bit more traction than just a tab
IIRC This is a relatively common issue with specific lowering springs, I don't have personal experience, but just wanted to point out it could also be springs/bump stops and not the camber plates.
