Oh I would like to see some more photos of this car. Bad angle for checking, but the panel gaps already look more consistent here then on all of the preproduction cars we've seen so far. Saw the current grey one on the new car show circuit last week and the gaps around the stupid clam shell hood were pretty crap. I was hoping this came from a problem with the die or mold used to make the preproduction hoods and would be resolved for the production cars.

I fee like the panel gap is fairly consistent, even with the BMW range.
Probably not much you can do about it with leaving mm's of room to allow for the bonnet to open and close without rubbing

Yeah, it was pretty bad on the first ones that left the factory.

Yup, I was pretty shocked Toyota let those cars out the door looking like that. The one I saw at the autoshow last week looks exactly as above.

FYI, my pic in my first post is a screen capture of the image at the top. It looks much better then that /|\

Didn't look that bad at the Atlanta auto show

That's funny. I guess the show cars don't get rotated, they just get replaced every show.

They have multiple cars for all the shows going on obviously, so there will be some variance.

I don’t think so. I took these pics at Detroit Auto Show. I think it’s the same like in Atlanta.

The red mirrors really do make it look a little 'simple'.

Nice Z4 behind it though - love that colour.

Am I the only one that thinks it's weird that there is no writing on the brake calipers?

There's no "Toyota" or "Supra" logo written on them. Just simple red calipers. Seems odd

No, you're not. TBH, the MKV lacks a lot of those small details but expected given the outcome of the product. Even the Z4 got the M logo. Something... anything.

The plain black side mirrors covers really look cheap,
