For the regular JB4 it has several preset options for boost/power/fuel content. You can even get custom tuning also.
It also depends on other mods like intake and exhaust.
Anywhere from 40 to over 100 hp gains. Lots of variables.

According to Google no, not if there is an active connection to your phone via bluetooth. But as I recall I was able to disconnect my Bluetooth or turn off the app and still set the alarm. Here's the copy and paste from Google.
No, you generally cannot leave a V-Linker (or any OBD-II device) plugged into a Mark 5 Supra with an active connection to an app without triggering the car's alarm. The Supra's security system is designed to detect and respond to any communication through the OBD-II port while the car is locked.
How the alarm is triggered
The core issue is not the physical dongle itself, but the active communication link between the OBD-II device and your phone's app.
