But would it clear a aftermarket exhaust? Looked at this diffuser a while back and it does not seem to have a big enough opening to a bigger exhaust than stock.

There's plenty of people running aftermarket. I know for sure it fits boost logic and HKS, but we can always check if you're interested. It's easy to hold it underneath and see (that's how I found out sadly lol)

It's not the height that the exhaust hangs as it is how far back that's the problem.

The FI isn't much larger than stock but sits waaaay back almost inside the rear bumper so it touches. The boost logic and HKS for example are lower but they sit significantly more towards the front of the car so they clear fine
