Not to be pushy but I'm honestly so curious considering the price ranges on these are so inconsistent. Is it a "that's a good price" or is it "holy sh*t" price?

This was not a normal find, keep that in mind. I don’t think a similar mileage and condition TT MKIV will ever pop up on the market for the price I paid. I was not planning on buying a MKIV....ever. Not because I don’t like them, but because they became outrageously overpriced for the condition of the cars. I’ve seen TT MKIV’s with 5 different shades of color on them, 5 previous owners, ridiculous accident histories, garbage interiors, etc... going for $65k+!!! When I came across this car, I couldn’t believe the condition and history let alone the price I got it for. The previous owner was great! Car enthusiast and overall super nice guy. So to answer your question....I got a “Are you kidding me!?!?! Where do I sign” price.

Excellent! I hope to find a deal like that someday. Sadly, my Supra dreams are gone I think. I highly doubt I’ll stumble across a deal worth picking up.

@Guff I just watched your latest video on MKIV prices on YouTube. Great video....I too agree, I would never pay the outrageous prices some sellers are labeling on the MKIV. As I said before, had it not been for the ridiculously low price I paid for mine, I would have never looked in the MKIV’s direction. I get the hype and “dream” some people talk about with these cars, but in all honesty....it’s a really plain-jane car. I actually like my brothers MKV more, and once they start consistently making 1000hp on the MKV’s, it will be a fun crazy all around car.

With that being said, would I ever sell the MKIV? No...at least not anytime soon. Not because of fanboy-ism, but like you said....something still makes people go nuts for them and when wealthy preppies pull up next you in a 458 Ferrari and say “beautiful car!”, it’s probably a car worth holding onto. Still, a GTR is king in my book.
