Hey everyone!

So I love the Cusco Power Brace for our cars, but I'm not in love with the high shine chrome look of the center bar on the brace and want to change that.

I'd love to do a little crowdsourced brainstorming here with whoever is interested lol. Pointers or guides on how to perform your suggestions would be awesome as well!

Examples would be:
-sanding for matte finish
-matte clear coat
-painted
-etc

idk I'm just trying to be creative and don't know how to work with aluminum lol.

?

Apply some primer. Sand it to 1000-3000 grit. Apply paint then clear coat. There are some out there paint&clear in one..
The connecting or moving points may be tricky.
If you've never painted anything, watch some YouTube videos. Trick is to keep a steady distance and spray pattern. Doesn't matter if spray paint or paint gun

Thanks!

Good suggestion here. I haven't decided if I want to paint or just change the finish on the metal so this is helpful. I'm indecisive haha.
