Used for about 400 miles, roughly half on the stock Downpipe and half with an AA catted DP. $1,000 picked up in the seacoast NH area...I am about an hour and a half north of Boston, MA.
WHY - well, I think like most people I want to try every exhaust made for this car. I love this setup, but want something straight through with the valve open (MBRP/Borla) or to just try an AWE setup.
This is probably a poor mans Magnaflow! You can only have the 3.5" to the mufflers and then run their mufflers (straight through). System is pretty tame with the valve closed, however quite loud and bassy with the valve open. The downpipe made it louder on cold start and WOT, but I would say kept the sound similar, just a bit more raw. I actually think this would be one of the best setups with a catless downpipe. System isnt too heavy, but I know shipping will be very $$, I would say at least $150 since the back section is so large. I will also include some locking collars for the hangers so it doesn't move around! I think the CF tip setup goes for ~1600 new, so I think 1,000 is a good deal.
