I’m wondering if someone has installed these or any Maxton side skirts and could provide some insight. It came with generic instructions as I’ve checked their website.

Came with 10 screws per side with no indication of screw placements. I plan on using 3M 1” VHB the entire length of the skirt and keeping the number of screws at a minimum.

What are your experiences/thoughts?

TIA

So I installed these on my supra and I probably did in the most in-elegant way. I just spaced out the screws every 12 inches and put a screw at both ends. I didn't use any glue or 3M tape and its held on fine for about 2 years. It did suck drilling into the car, but if I ever had to take them off, it wouldn't be to bad to fill the holes and repair it.

There is a way to install them using rivet nut insert's were you can then just use a non self tapping screw to hold it into place. But, I have not gone down that route since I felt it was a little more permanent and would leave bigger holes.

Just search this on Amazon to see what I'm talking about.

thanks for the insight. I guess the only way to do this is to screw it.
