Also, question here for my fellow MT owners, does the catless no CEL really matter? Our cars supposedly run like shit catless without a tune, so I am wondering if any brand will work at that point? (Provided its 3.5" throughout to match my rk ti)

from my experience, i can def feel and hear the turbo spools faster but at some point, the power cuts off at a certain RPM for me. so def not worth it without a tune IMO. its not that much better other than sounds

Fellow MT owner. I've heard of issues of people running catless without tunes experiencing something like a "Boost Cut" or I guess failsafe mode (Example: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/mt-supra-overboosting-throttle-closure-with-catless-dp.20220/)

But essentially because of the extra flow provided by a catless DP, the car builds boost too quickly/can overshoot the boost target on the factory map and when that happens the ECU cuts throttle/ignition as a failsafe.

On an MT car it really seems like if you don't want to tune, you need to stick with catted DP at best, or go fullsend and FEMTO/Tune to properly run catless.
Hey!! Thanks for the input, I do want to go to femto so that's not off the table what so ever, but I guess my concern was more around what's the point of a NO CEL DP vs any other catless dp if the manual trans supras are going to suffer either way.. my concern at this point would be a 3.5" DP so no constraints with a 3.5 CBE

I have the Kenji DP--so far no CEL. I've done heavy driving, street driving, and will take it to the track soon. But so far, it's works as advertised.
Do you know if the outlet was 3.5"?

Its the same as oem 3.15"
Doesn't that make any aftermarket exhaust with 3.5" throughput, pointless? Is there any full 3.5" downpipes?
