Purchased a 2020 GR 3.0 and was told it had nav but it didn’t. I purchased the 8.8” monitor and the controller for the console. Everything is working fine, I also ordered the Evo head unit with nav on it. Has anyone tried this yet I did a brief search and didn’t see any existing topics but it seems it would be a direct swap now that I have the proper monitor and system controller. Is there a value within BimmerCode I would have to change for the swap of the head units? I can’t see why it wouldn’t just be a direct swap with the evo unit since it’s just the software that’s already functioning from a vehicle that was gutted for racing.
Open to input from those with experience on this topic etc.
