Question: I recently replaced the battery in my 2023 Supra with an OEM BMW battery (I left it off a maintainer for to long this winter) I used BimmerCode and BimmerLink to program the battery to the car. I then connected a BMW battery maintainer directly to the battery (I think this may be part of the issue). I took the car out of winter hibernation today and went on a 200 mile road trip. I’m not able to clear several codes after repeat attempts. Airbag, traction, cruise control, driver assist, etc. However the biggest problem is the odometer is counting miles way too fast. Almost 1500 miles added to the odometer after the 200 mile road trip!!

Has anyone had this issue or thoughts on what could cause the odometer to do this..

Thanks so much in advance for any advice!!

Was scouring the internet trying to find someone else with this issue. Came across your thread from last year.
Mine kind of the same thing. Battery went dead, replaced it. Noticed all kinds of weird lights, etc and also noticed my speedometer was clocking a mile driven about every 10 seconds while driving normal highway speeds. The shop working on my car cant find the solution to this. They have registered the battery again to the car and its shows its registered. However, something is not allowing the registered battery to tell the car that the battery is new. Weird.

Did you ever find a solution to this wild shit?

Thanks,

Jeremy
