Pirelli GT4 America Series

Anybody following this series? Instead of GT3 cars which are purpose built race cars, GT4 cars start life as street cars. The are a bit slower than, and heavier than GT3 cars. In their first 2 races at Sonoma Raceway last weekend a Toyota Supra won them both! Decent racing with 6 different makes. Next race is COTA and the a double header at Sebring on the May 9th & 10th weekend. I might just go watch in person!

On Friday I drove over to Sebring and watched the World Challenge and GT4 America cars practice for races over the weekend. There are 4 Supras running in the GT4 series.

Love seeing the Supra passing the Porsche. And beating it in the race!

The back, number 3 Supra finished second overall in both races!
