I had the Remus.

Got it on a crazy sale so decided to try it as I still had my OEM exhaust since it had to be cut for it to fit as an axle-back.

With a catted (AA) downpipe, it's pretty quiet considering the price and the fact that it's only an axle-back and you're still using the crumpled OEM unit mid-section.

With a catless downpipe, it did sound amazing!

I'd say, if you're going catless and can find a great deal on the Remus, go for it. Otherwise, look elsewhere for a full exhaust replacement at a much cheaper price point.

Had a Remus exhaust on my Triumph Street Triple (motorcycle, dummy!) and it was super high quality and downright sexy. I’ve got stock exhaust and catless DP and could use some more volume when in rowdy mode - does the Remus exhaust have a valve?

Yes, the Remus Race unit DOES have the valve.
