Right side mirror tilt

So I keep the mirror adjustment on the left side so that the right mirror can tilt down in reverse.

The other day I was driving on the interstate and my right side mirror was stuck in the down position. It was quite scary as it’s impossible to see otherwise if there is a car.

Has anyone ran into this issue? I tried popping out the mirror to see if it will move without the mirror and that didn’t work either. Left to right works but it does not tilt up and down

Currently I have it set to my preference but I would really like to be able o control it. I would appreciate it if people could chime in on what it could be.

You can use BimmerCode to set the percentage of tilt.

OEM setting is very deep. I think it’s 60%

If I remember well, I set it at 30% and works great.

I think mine is just broken. It doesn’t move even when I try to with the buttons. I was just asking before I return my car to stock to go to the dealer
