Side View Mirror Cover + Wheel Color Match

I'm trying to decide if this is a good idea. The only example I could find is a member on here who matched Eternal Blue 57CR's with blue mirror caps.

I have a set of anthracite Apex wheels going on my Nocturnal car. Thinking about painting a set of aftermarket caps in anthracite. I like contrast.

Anybody out there have pics of something similar?

Anthracite and black is not much of a contrast.. no? I'd run the stock wheels as-is if you want contrast.

That is exactly what I am doing with stock wheels, factory CF mirror caps and misc CF bits, white lettering on my plates on my black car. I do not want any other gray scale. Beside that, orange and red factory reflectors and red spots inside the headlights and GR logo on the tail..that's plenty of colors.

Perhaps gradience is the proper nomenclature? I haven't seen anthracite/nocturnal combo on a Supra yet. Below is the best I can find.

I see what you are saying .. literally this time. That is a nice calm look.

Hoping BMW figures out what is wrong with the brakes as I am getting an itch to get my 2nd Supra in white.

Found these mirror caps on eBay, before and after pic. They seemed to be of HQ and were a perfect fit. These were not tape on covers, you pull the factory cap off and replace.
