Question:
Let me explain this in a simple way. I broke the tire valve pressure on one tire, went to a local shop, and got the valve replaced. It was fine after that. A couple of days later, another tire (not the one with the broken pressure valve) was low on pressure. I took it to the same shop, and the guy said there was a nail in it. He showed me, fixed it, and patched it from the inside. It seemed fine, but when I got home, I got a “Tire not recognized” pop-up.
I tried resetting and recalibrating it, but nothing seems to work, even after three days.
At this point, do you guys think he might have damaged the TPMS sensor? Or how do I narrow down the issue?
Any input is appreciated.
